Continually emerging technologies such as podcasting are part of the lives of many children, as audio based content is delivered to an individual’s computer through the internet. Engage in how learning experiences supported literacy, were interactive, creative, challenging and fun, as members of a Year 6 Radio Club engaged with technology to produce a school radio program delivered through the school portal as a podcast.

Janet's Bio

K-7 ICT Teacher and Integrator, Ravenswood School for Girls, Gordon. Janet worked as a classroom teacher for many years, successfully integrating ICT into the curriculum to enhance teaching and learning. In 2003, she moved into the newly created ICT role K-6 and in 2008 extended her role to include working with both the teachers and students in the Year 7 integrated Middle School English/History program. She works closely with classroom teachers to develop teaching and learning sequences that effectively integrate technology across the curriculum.
